Carina is a self-taught Illustrator (vector and digital painting) from Argentina. Former computer programming teacher at college.

Angelo Cerantola

Oneiric, layered, harmonious, polychromatic, technorganic

Angelo is an artist and graphic designer inspired by classic Art, pop music, human evolution, technology, science and nature. Some of Angelo's work emphasizes on the blending of photography with graphic elements. Angelo's works shows harmony and clarity with his use of colours and shapes.

I asked Angelo about one of the work featured "Transfusion": "it's very much inspired by the beauty I find in microscopic scientific images of viruses, bacteria and germs, and how natural organisms organize themselves in patterns and systems to carry out their actions."

I find Angelo's vision very interesting as using nature in my own photography, I am fascinated by the patterns nature creates ... indeed life is beautiful in it's patterns and shapes creating mechanisms it needs to exist. Jess studied and worked as a psychologist for over 20 years: "While linear thinking is required for much of what psychologists "do", I'd like to think that the intuitive, non-verbal, interpersonal sense of connection is essential in the art of healing. I've transitioned into spending most of my creative life in parenting and in photography and multimedia. With very few exceptions my work with images begins with nature. I very rarely have a particular outcome in mind when I start to engage with images. As I do when working with hypnosis, I enter with intentional "unintentionality" and akin to psychotherapy, the substance lays in the process itself."

From her bio: "Jess was raised in the rich orchestra of sensual colours, sounds, tastes and organic beauty of Mexico, Jess grew up with one foot in the forest, the other in Mexico City's artistic bounty." I love the richness of her work in her use of colours and textures. The work featured is photography with digital process. She also creates pieces using the encaustic process.
